Robert Allen Bonelli is the founder and President of US Endowment Advisors. He is known for his strategic thinking, innovative spirit, leadership and creativity. He has more than 35 years experience in the financial industry; is a seasoned executive; published author; and an accomplished public speaker who has appeared on Fox News, Fox Business Network, Talk Radio, CNBC, and Bloomberg Television as well as in numerous trade publication interviews.
Prior to founding USEA, he restructured, diversified and served as President of Northeast Securities, Inc, a diversified financial services firm providing brokerage, asset management, municipal bond underwriting and investment banking services to both individual and institutional clients.
Mr. Bonelli also was the founder and president of Eagle Rock Financial Advisors, LLC, a firm specializing in asset management and investment banking services to institutional clients. Prior to that, he reorganized Ernst & Company (a 68 year-old Wall Street firm and member of the New York Stock Exchange at the time) from a partnership to a corporation and served as the corporations Chief Financial Officer. While at Ernst & Company, Mr. Bonelli personally managed the Ernst Bank Equity Fund, L.P. which returned a net annual return to its investors of 32% for each of its seven year life.
Prior to coming to Wall Street, Mr. Bonelli spent seventeen years as an executive in the banking industry where he rose to the level of Executive Vice President of the Howard Savings Bank, where he was recruited to help save that troubled institution. His efforts helped the Howard successfully merge into another organization. Prior to that assignment, Mr. Bonelli specialized in corporate finance and ran the corporate planning and development efforts for United Jersey Banks.
Before entering the financial world, Mr. Bonelli received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of New York and started his career in aerospace and guided missile research on Department of Defense projects.
Matthew J. Bonelli is Managing Director of US Endowment Advisors. He has extensive financial industry experience and strong skills in client relationship management.
Prior to joining US Endowment Advisors, Mr. Bonelli was an Associate in Investment Banking at Northeast Securities. Before his tenure at Northeast, Mr. Bonelli was an Analyst at Goldman Sachs where he managed counterparty relationships around the world and helped develop new execution and account management systems.
Mr. Bonelli received his B.S. in Business Administration from Bucknell University where he was captain of Bucknell’s NCAA Division I Track & Field team for both his junior and senior years. In conjunction with his academic and athletic achievements, he founded and managed a profitable delivery services company for Bucknell students and local residents.
Robert C. Bonelli is US Endowment Advisors’ corporate counsel and compliance officer. He has broad experience in all aspects of corporate and transactional work, including corporate formation, equity financing, capital restructure, mergers and acquisitions, and dispute resolution. He also is experienced with structuring and negotiating debt agreements, complex commercial agreements, trademark licensing, leases, and executive compensation agreements.
Robert began his legal career on Wall Street working with brokerage firms, investment banks and individuals on resolving litigation matters and other disputes.
Robert is a member of the New York Bar Association, earned his J.D. at Pace University Law School and his B.S.B.A. in Management from Bucknell University.
